Skyview Strategic Solutions helps small businesses, farms, nonprofits, and households work through the challenges, projects, and technology that can be difficult to manage on their own.

That might mean helping a business solve an operational challenge, keeping a complicated project moving, finding a better technology solution, troubleshooting something that isn't working, or helping someone understand and use the technology that's become part of everyday life.

The work may look different from one client to the next. The approach doesn't: understand what's actually happening, figure out what makes sense, and help move it forward.

Based in Caledonia, MN, Skyview serves clients throughout Southeast Minnesota, Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin, and beyond when the work can be done virtually.

MY STORY

I'm Courtney Paus, and my path here wasn't straightforward.

After nearly a decade with the same company, my position was eliminated during organizational restructuring. Like many other professionals who've experienced this, I found myself suddenly searching for what came next.

 I applied to hundreds of jobs I was fully qualified for—most never even acknowledged my application.

So I invested in myself. I earned my PMP certification, completed courses in AI integration, and built global connections. Through unique opportunities to serve in other areas, I kept working, kept learning, and kept listening to what people actually needed.

That's when I saw an opportunity to use that experience differently: helping businesses and households solve problems, navigate change, and get practical support without the cost or complexity of resources built for much larger organizations. I'd spent 25+ years solving problems across diverse industries—from commercial HVAC systems to healthcare facilities to private equity portfolio companies spanning manufacturing, agriculture, and beyond.

In every role, I did the same thing: I figured out what clients actually needed to drive their work forward. Not what was requested, what was needed.

That's what I do at Skyview.

HOW I WORK

I start by understanding what you're actually trying to accomplish.

The problem you call about isn't always the problem that ultimately needs to be solved. I'll ask questions, listen, and look at the bigger picture before recommending what comes next.


I look for the solution that makes sense, not the one someone wants to sell you.

Sometimes the answer is new technology, a new process, or a larger project. Sometimes it's making better use of what you already have. The goal is to solve the right problem without creating unnecessary complexity or expense.


And I won't disappear once there's a plan.

Depending on what you need, Skyview can help implement the solution, coordinate the moving pieces, train the people who will use it, troubleshoot what comes up, or stay involved to help keep things moving.
